Work-Ready Summer Session is a 6-week program designed to prepare teens to get and keep a job! The Work-Ready Program focuses on 15 competences that Sonoma County Employers identified as being needed for success on the job. (Open to students in grades 8-12)
All Classes are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:00 - 7:00pm
Gain valuable hands-on work experience by working in Chop’s Cafe
Obtain your food handler’s certificate
Create a resume and cover letter to successfully present yourself on paper
Learn the financial aspects of earning a paycheck
Learn how to conduct yourself in interviews with real employers
Earn $200 upon completion of the program
