Students will begin the week weaving and finish with needle felting! Using an indigenous technique from Palestine, we will weave a soft basket around a bottle using only our hands (no loom required). By using jute and wool yarn, you will end up with a gorgeous holder for your water bottle, to enjoy every day. Using colorful roving (wool that has been cleaned, brushed and dyed), you will learn how to use special needles to make a small soft object, such as a creature or ornament.  There are many applications for this wonderful skill.
